Großbäckerei Hölter KG is a leading bakery with a bread production capacity of as many as 4,000 loaves an hour at the heart of the German bread and pastry industry. With a vision to optimise production, the company turned to Marvu for an innovative solution. The result? An extensive project that combined several Marvu products for a seamless and efficient conveyor operation.
A new dimension in refrigerated Ttansport
With the expansion of an additional production hall in 2015, Großbäckerei Hölter faced the challenge of improving their labour-intensive conveyor system for bread cooling. Marvu’s tailored solution looked further into increasing transport efficiency and freed up valuable floor space for other operations.
The project included installing and integrating several Marvu components, including the i-Drive conveyor, Type 360 elevating conveyor, Type 395 transfer unit, Type 550 right-angle transfer unit, a spiral tower, and even four CIP cleaning systems. This co-creative project resulted in conveyor lines without bothersome transitions, minimal technical maintenance, and a system that is now much easier to clean.
